I was thrilled with my stay! The hotel is brand new, and I loved the comfort of the Double or Twin Room. Soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi while taking in the amazing views was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring.

during my stay, I found the charm of the nearby Keldur historical site, just over 2 km away, perfect for a weekend exploration, alongside the welcoming staff who ensured my experience was memorable with generous service.

Our stay was somewhat marred by a number of issues. we were disappointed to find the outdoor spa wasn't operational during the morning hours when we were really looking forward to using it. Secondly, the limited breakfast options weren't adequate compared to other places we've visited in Iceland, which left us feeling unsatisfied. Lastly, navigating to the lodge was problematic, especially the last stretch of gravel road which is quite rough and not really conducive for standard vehicles.

The outdoor jacuzzi was a highlight, providing a fantastic way to unwind while overlooking the stunning Icelandic landscape.

Unfortunately, the driveway can be tricky for smaller vehicles. we were glad to have a 4x4 to navigate the gravel roads.

Tindasel Lodge greeted us with easy access and breathtaking countryside views. The jacuzzi was the best way to relax after a long day of hiking. We soaked in the warm water while enjoying the chilly winds around us. The breakfast was tasty, although the options were limited. still, it hit the spot in the morning. The rooms were fresh and clean but smaller than expected, and we found it a bit stuffy during summer. Opening the windows helped, but it would have been a greater experience with better air circulation. Overall, the staff was professional and welcoming, making us feel at home. We had a great time viewing the Northern Lights, and the location was perfect for that. Definitely a memorable stay with some minor inconveniences that didn’t overshadow the good moments.

This was just an optimal selection for a flash visit in Hella with exceptional value. The outdoor jacuzzi was perfect for unwinding after a long journey, offering stunning views of the landscape. Consider bringing a camera for some great photo ops in the area.

We had such a relaxing stay, especially soaking in the jacuzzi while gazing at the stunning desert views. The sauna was another great way to unwind after our adventures! The only thing was a bit of noise from the hallway at times, but it didn't ruin our experience. Definitely pack your camera for the amazing scenery! 📸
